On 19 November 2025, the President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, arrived in Georgia on an official visit.

The President was welcomed at Tbilisi International Airport by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili; the Head of the Administration of the President of Georgia, Ketevan Kvinikadze; and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Armenia, Giorgi Sharvashidze.  

Maka Botchorishvili thanked President Khachaturyan for visiting Georgia and wished him a productive and successful visit. 

The President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, is hosting his Armenian counterpart. Within the framework of the visit, President Vahagn Khachaturyan will hold meetings with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze and the Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili.

The President of Armenia will lay a wreath at the Memorial of the Heroes Fallen for the Unity of Georgia.

This is Vahagn Khachaturyan’s second official visit to Georgia.
