Last year’s favorites for the chairman of the New Left, Gawkowski and ADB, announce with Czarzasty that the only candidate will be Czarzasty xD

I don’t even want to link a single article, because I don’t want to focus on what they announced there, but just start a rant against Czarzasty. This is funny to me in the context of Czarzasty’s frequent recent changes in his decisions. He was supposed to continue marshaling in the manner of Hołownia, but he began to introduce some of his own undemocratic reforms. He was supposed to immediately deal with issues such as the anti-cadastral tax, civil partnerships, or put abortion projects to a vote, even if they were not to pass – and with each of these projects he has recently replied that later, at another time, or even not at all in this term, because it will not pass anyway. And he wasn’t supposed to run anymore, but he was going to be the only candidate xD

This is ridiculous both from the perspective of politicians and voters of the former Wiosna, as well as from the perspective of those favorable to Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk and the Biejat family, who often used this year’s elections for the party chairman as an argument for their belief in the party’s active, progressive course. That it’s not like the New Left will be so passive for the entire term, because the ADB will take over power soon anyway, because Czarzasty promised not to run and we will have a New New Left.

So what? And not only did Czarzasty change his mind, he also took last year’s favorites to the conference to show in front of the cameras how they let go of their ambitions and stand behind Grandpa Włodek, because suddenly there is nothing to change and everything is fine.

I don’t know how this party is going to fight for new voters when they can’t even risk handing over the image reins to a younger person who is more popular among voters. ADB has probably given up on any ambitions at all, because even when all its plans are thwarted, it cannot even show dissatisfaction and promise to try to fulfill them another time, but will only admit that these thwarted plans are actually great. We boast about Free Christmas Eve, but we don’t mention this additional Sunday (just to be clear – I think it’s a better solution, but it would be worth not pretending that we didn’t want to do better?). We boast about the widow’s pension, but we do not mention how the law was severely curtailed. And we praise Czarzasty’s candidacy, not to mention abandoning his own plans for the party’s direction.

I hope that they will start on one list with KO, because Czarzasty’s New Left, now even without Biedroń, will be so close to KO that both parties will only lose by starting separately. And voters of such a Left would certainly not be offended by such a list anyway.
