  1. I recently made rømmegrøt at my home here in the US. Shockingly, our sour cream has only half the fat of Norwegian sour cream, so I replaced it with crème fraîche. It turned out really well, but it was quite different from the version my dad used to make when I was younger, which only used milk and flour (we called it “mush”). Even so, I was still the only person at the dinner table eating it. lol 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Dammit, I really need to make rømmegrøt myself, and work out some way of making it both lactose- and gluten free.
