"How the European Union Supports Georgia in Implementing Reforms in Food Safety"
According to official data, approximately 40,000 cases of human food poisoning or disease are registered annually in Georgia. However, the actual numbers are much higher. Food may contain various chemical substances due to consumption of which a person may not be poisoned at once, but in case of systematic intake, they may develop some severe disease.
NOTE: The agency’s control results are published on their webpage https://nfa.gov.ge/Ge/StateControl. Here, you can see the inspection results of any enterprise or product you are interested in.

Someone please tag that guy from yesterday’s thread who was tripping about everyone wanting to poison him 😀
I’ve been to the national food agency multiple times and at least the ladies that do the phytosanitary certificates and the one that does the animal health certificates seem nice and competent.
Can’t speak about the others.
There are many issues with food safety here and I’m glad it’s getting attention and oversight.
