At the Ahoy Rotterdam arena in Rotterdam, the decisive match of the 27th Women’s World Championship in handball took place.

The World Championship title was won by the Norway women’s team, which defeated Germany in the final by 23-20 (11-11).

For bronze, France, in overtime, defeated Germany with a score of 33-31 (26-26 after the end of regulation time).
