Agreement on Switzerland’s participation in Union programmes, published in OJ

Official publication has been made today of the Agreement between the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community, of the one part, and the Swiss Confederation, of the other part, on the participation of the Swiss Confederation in Union programmes.

The agreement establishes a framework under which Switzerland may participate in a range of EU programmes, setting out the conditions for access, financial contributions, governance arrangements and monitoring mechanisms. It applies horizontally across multiple policy areas, including research, innovation, digital and atomic energy, and clarifies Switzerland’s involvement in specific programmes, such as Horizon Europe, Euratom research and training activities, Digital Europe
