  1. 26 separate people, and he’s not suing? Almost certainly a true and accurate description of what he was like in school.

  2. They are really milking this for everything it is worth but really most Reform voters are going to keep voting for him regardless.

Got to keep the story alive though right?

I question the general idea of dredging up stupid comments from people’s youth and what that’s going to actually achieve.

FYI I believe it’s all true, I don’t think this will make any difference though.

  3. Practically his entire class has now come forward on the record to call him a racist bully.

  4. I’m sure the Reform key voter demographics won’t care, and if anything this will give him a bit of a boost with them.

A Racist who will “finally deal” with immigration is exactly the #1 thing Reform voters want. He can carry their stink – he can be the racist for _them_.

Not sure what whomsoever is pushing this story thinks is going to happen here – his support want fall away due to this story.

I bet all on here moralising and pontificating were perfect at school and as a teenager in general, and without any shadow of a doubt never said anything they regret.

The desperation to denigrate someone they know will be in power soon due to the lies, corruption and sleaze of the current corrupt mob all with multiple houses, with their whole careers spent sucking off of public taxation, that makes the Tories look like amateurs is so obvious it is laughable

  7. The only people really pushing this almost certainly don’t like Farage anyway. The only mistake he can make is to apologise, because that looks like an admission.

This is what happens when u go to some school instead of Eton. LOL! I dont see any complaints against Bo Jo 😛

Pay him £70 on Cameo, with a script saying “I’m sorry I’m such a racist arse”, and he will.

I’m a little bit older than Nigel Farage.

Growing up in the 60s, it was quite common for a black cat or dog to be given the name that begins with ‘N’, that nobody uses anymore.

The war was also very prominent. The coolest kids in school were the ones who had Grandfathers or Fathers who were pilots in the RAF.

This is getting desperate. 3 years to go and Labour could try and turn the economy around and reduce unemployment or lower taxes, but they are so resigned to the fact that everything will be worse in 3 years they are resorting to this. A doomed strategy.

  12. Who cares what he said as a child, have you you been to a school? Kids say lots of horrible things

  13. Apologise for something he said 40 years ago. The left really are a fucking joke. Next they will be saying we should all apologise for the slave trade.

  14. When you can’t show him being racist go back 50 years when he was at school. What’s next? Racist in nursery?

  15. I’m sure everyone in here is for permanent prison sentences for any crime. Because of course no one ever changes or reforms right?

  16. All these Nigel Farage headlines make me laugh.
    Nigel Farage Slammed…
    Nigel Farage blasted…
    Nigel Farage urged to…
    Nigel Farage told to…

  17. This would have all gone away if he’d have just held his hands up and said, “sorry, I did say this things, it was 50 years ago and I was young and stupid, can’t imagine the hurt and upset I caused these people, I have changed over the years and grown up and don’t hold these opinions anymore” –

absolute bollocks obviously, he’s not learned anything and is still a massive racist, that’s why he’s trying to worm his way out of it because he still believes what he did as a 14yr old and hasn’t changed a bit

Funny how Reform fans’ defence of this is “oh open antisemitism was perfectly acceptable and normal in the 1970s” and insinuating that the claims are a conspiracy/plot. VERY telling of the views and mindset of Reformers.

  19. CorrectsNumpties on

Boring political stunt now. Adult babies harping on about something unprovable someone said 50 years ago as a kid, something he’s already denied. Are we all going to be hauled over the coals now for things we said as young children? There’s far more important things that need attention.

  20. Nigel Farrage is the Morrison’s own brand version of Trump. He’s the ASDA Oswald Mosely.

    He’s a prick.

  21. Inevitable-Walk-9343 on

The reality is most people do not care what a politician said at school, especially if there are no physical receipts of it happening. It comes across more of a smear campaign/ attempt to shut someone down than anything else. If labour can stop the boats and reduce immigration to much mor sustainable numbers, they’d probably blow reform out of the water. Of course, they can’t do this if their voters blindly shriek “racist” at any slight mention that high levels of immigration do come with cons (as well as pros)

  22. Firm-Requirement1085 on

Apologize to people 40 or so years ago who you wouldn’t recognize if you saw them? Stfu

  23. Inevitable-Walk-9343 on

I’m sure everyone in this comment section made comments at school that would be considered some form of wording ending in phobic or ist today. If you don’t fall under any, then 💯you’ll have said something about men and women being different, or using phrases such as “woman and girls” which would have you classed as a TERF / transphobic bigot today.

  24. Any sort of apology will mean absolutely nothing – because he never actually means anything that he says or states. Such as being patriot and willing to defend the country. Because the man is a Russian asset, Putin apologist and Trump follower/sycophant.

  25. > Farage has accused those who have come forward with allegations of being politically motivated and questioned how they were able to recall the details over four decades on.

If you were bullied as a child, you can absolutely remember every single detail.

  26. I feel like alumni of a school like Dulwich College probably wouldn’t publicly turn on their own without good reason.
