Yesterday, the live auditions of Selecția Națională 2026 were completed, the process through which Moldova is called to select its representative for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest.

The 37 candidates were as follows:

A panel of experts evaluated only the melodic line of the song, its originality, the vocal performance of the artist, and the overall interpretation. The contestants’ outfits and stage presentation were not judged, while time was given to the participants for the necessary sound adjustments. The jury of the national final will be different from that of the auditions.

The sixteen finalists who will compete to represent Moldova at Eurovision 2026 are:

We remind you that the national final will take place on January 17. The winner will be determined by a combination of votes from the national jury, the international jury, and the televoting, each accounting for one third of the total result. The points will be awarded in Eurovision style (1–8, 10, 12). In the event of a tie, the public vote will prevail. In the case of an absolute tie, the decision will be made by TRM and the producers.
