The Belgian festival summer of 2025 was defined by spectacular productions on the country’s largest stages. PRG Belgium, one of the leading providers of event and live productions, consistently turned to the powerful IP65-certified fixtures from German lighting innovator ROXX. In particular, the ROXX NEO and CLUSTER series were supplied in large numbers, delivering powerful looks, reliable outdoor performance, and broad creative freedom for lighting designers.
By recognising the potential of ROXX early on and investing heavily in the NEO and CLUSTER series, the company, with the close support of distributor Luxillag, not only expanded its inventory with innovative, weatherproof lighting technology but also reinforced its position as a trusted partner for promoters throughout the Benelux region and beyond.
The Belgian festival season kicked off with Graspop Metal Meeting, held June 19–22, 2025, in Dessel, Flanders. More than 135,000 fans came to see some of the biggest names in heavy metal and hard rock. On the South Stage, PRG Belgium deployed 92 ROXX CLUSTER B2 FC, whose immense output and fast blinder effects perfectly matched the high-energy atmosphere of the festival.
Just a few days later, 3–6 July 2025, Rock Werchter attracted around 160,000 visitors. With a line-up spanning rock, indie, pop, and EDM, the event offered a program as diverse as the lighting technology used. In the Klub C and The Barn halls, twelve ROXX NEO and 26 CLUSTER B2 FC were deployed, while the smaller Slope stage was equipped with nine more NEO. In addition, 140 NEO and twelve NEO FX illuminated the wider festival site, creating atmospheric lighting across large areas.
From 16–20 July, 2025, the Dour Festival welcomed more than 242,000 visitors. Few other festivals embrace such a wide range of genres – from hip-hop and electronic to indie, punk, and reggae. In the Last Arena, 18 ROXX CLUSTER B2 FC delivered bold visual accents with colourful, high-impact blinder and floodlight effects.
The festival summer culminated 14–17 August 2025, with Pukkelpop in Hasselt-Kiewit. With nearly 300,000 visitors over four days, the festival ranks among the largest multi-genre events in Europe, bringing together indie, rock, pop, hip-hop, and electronic music. PRG Belgium deployed a large-scale ROXX setup: on the Mainstage, 220 NEO and 30 CLUSTER B2 FC lit the shows, while the Marquee Stage was equipped with 38 additional CLUSTER blinders. On the Wave Stage, ten NEO FX added further effects, underlining the stylistic diversity of the festival.
For another high-profile open-air event on the international stage, 200 ROXX NEO had also been specified. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the project could not be realised as planned. However, the preparations alone demonstrate the scale of the ROXX inventory now available at PRG Belgium.
Across all festivals, the large-scale deployments were made possible thanks to ROXX’ Belgian distributor Luxillag, ensuring that the required fixtures were available in the necessary quantities and on schedule.
The NEO series from ROXX is a powerful LED wash light delivering high output, a wide zoom range, and segmentable control. It has long been established as a reliable workhorse for both indoor and outdoor applications. Expanding on this, the NEO FX adds motorised zoom, pixel control, and an innovative smart-glass filter, making it suitable not only as a wash light but also as a versatile effects fixture.
The ROXX CLUSTER B2 FC is an IP65-certified 2-lite full-color blinder equipped with two 300W LEDs (RGBA plus Warm White), producing up to 20,000 lumens. With a high CRI (~90), segmentable control, and the C-Lok system for seamless clustering, it is ideally suited for powerful blinder and effect applications in outdoor environments.
