A Cyprus-based company is planning to develop luxury student residences with spa and gym facilities in Berlin, according to a report by the German newspaper Tagesspiegel.

“Sleek, white, minimalist and with rounded corners: the building recently presented by Dominik Reichelt of the Evientro Group in Steglitz-Zehlendorf has been met with some skepticism by local politicians. ‘It has a certain lack of presence,’ said Torsten Hippe, chairman of the district’s urban development committee. Evientro’s representative agreed with the politician, noting that earlier designs were more to his liking. However, the plans were refined through consultations with the urban planning office. The revised version presented ‘incorporates a great deal of input from the planning authorities.’”

The real estate investment company Evientro, headquartered in Cyprus, intends to construct “high-quality student apartments” in the heart of Zehlendorf. The project includes a total of 26 one-room studio apartments and nine two-room apartments across three and a half floors. Future residents may also welcome the fact that a spa and a fitness center are planned as part of the development.

According to the report, monthly rent is expected to be around €700, excluding heating costs.
