Estonia and Czechia will accept a renegotiated global minimum tax deal that would carve out US companies from key provisions of the agreement.
The two countries agreed to drop their opposition on Thursday, according to people familiar with the matter. Their assent means all EU countries have signed on to the new agreement after the two and Poland had last week voted against its adoption at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
Poland dropped its opposition Wednesday following bilateral meetings with the US and other countries throughout the past week.
