Today, 20 opposition politicians who were released from prison by Belarus and extradited to Ukraine were brought to Lithuania, APA reports, citing “Delfi”.
According to the information, the politicians were released on the basis of an agreement reached between the United States and Belarus.
It is reported that on December 13, following negotiations between Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and the US special representative, the release of 123 political prisoners was announced.
