This was expected a month or so ago but due to some procedural bloat the law allowing suspension doesn’t come into effect until Dec 30. The next EU council meeting is Jan 29 so that is the date to watch out for.
It was looking like they’d suspend it for the whole population but there’s been talk about more targeted suspensions lately, seems to be close to a certainty there will be some kind of suspension.
