The State Police has announced that another phase of the international operation, codenamed “The Wanted”, has been finalized.
The police announce that as a result of cooperation with the Serbian police authorities, coordinated by specialists from the Interpol Directorate, the internationally wanted citizen, R. R, 23 years old, was arrested in Serbia, as part of the “The Wanted” operation.
In 2024, the Court of Kukës sentenced this citizen to 3 years and 4 months in prison for the criminal offense of “Theft by force”, committed in collaboration.
In 2021, in the village of Dojan, Tropoja, citizen RR and citizen VM forcibly stole a citizen’s cell phone and a sum of euros.
The corresponding police structures are cooperating to finalize the procedure for the extradition of the 23-year-old to Albania. /Telegraph/
