The other day I made dolma and invited friends, Albanian friend said they call it „yaprak“. So obviously passed on from Turks. Also, Armenians and Greeks use names based on the word „dolma“, which is a verb in Azerbaijani, i.e the word is of Azerbaijani (or more generally speaking Turkic) origin. Stupid to claim a food yours when you still use a name in another language. Like saying „Hamburger is Azerbaijani food“ when Hamburg is in Germany.
