Stumbled into this interesting abandoned building in Oswiecim, it’s between Auschwitz 1 and Auschwitz-Birkenau, just to the corner of the bridge one would cross to get to Auschwitz-Birkenau from Oswiecim. Tried to find info about this building online but nothing comes up, does anyone have any info on its background?

Show us the location on Google Maps. Nothing that I can see on the map aligns with your description and photos.
I remember noticing it too, from what I can find it’s an [abandoned ammunition factory](https://www.straznicyczasu.pl/viewtopic.php?t=24797). Not sure if it’s an original purpose of the building or not.
Obviously post WW2, so no relation to Auschwitz/Birkenau German concentration camps.
It’s an abandoned production facility of OÅ›wiÄ™cimskie ZakÅ‚ady Naprawy Samochodów (roughly translated to OÅ›wiÄ™cim Automobile Repair Facility), built in 1951 and closed in 2001.
