Good thing we spent so much money on the Rwanda deterrent. We’d be looking pretty foolish right now if that wasn’t going to plan.
The Rwanda deal is not such a horrendous idea in itself but has been completely butchered in its execution. Rounding up every single person who comes here illegally and shipping them elsewhere would be an extremely effective method of dealing with the issue but that would be far too sensible! They would rather argue about the safety of said destination and plan for such insanely small numbers of deportations that they couldn’t even begin to undo the crisis we’ve been met with.
I’d have every single politician that this has happened under the watch of tried for treason; there is literally no way you can allow it to become this bad unless you are deliberately trying to undermine the country.
