The Audiovisual Council fines 11 television stations for violating the Media Code

According to CA, monitoring was carried out in the case of 21 television stations. Thus, TVC 21 was fined 45,000 lei for non-compliance with local production quotas, Romanian language programs and independent European audiovisual works. TV 9 was fined 15,000 lei, and 1TV, Studio-L and NTS received fines between 1,000 and 4,000 lei. At the same time, TV Găgăuzia, Busuioc TV and Noroc TV were sanctioned with public warnings for not broadcasting European audiovisual works made by independent producers from the Republic of Moldova. Moldova 1, TEZAUR TV and TVR Moldova received public notices of entry into legality, having a three-month deadline to comply with the legal requirements.
