This sub became infested with *ussian bots and one can’t even say anything about it because they would immediately swarm and drown them. Fresh accounts spread all kinds of hate, AdjNoun_Number. Is there anything mods can do?

“Oh no, people say things i don’t like and it hurts my fee fees (crying emoji). BAN THEM PLEASE!!!!!”

  2. The format adjective noun number is the default one reddit uses if you don’t choose your username. What should be talked about is the delusion of the users here thinking everyone they don’t like is a russian bot. Maybe your right wing grandpa is also a russian agent

I’m not a russian bot, but I often get accused of being one. For a very simple reason really, because I hide my posts and don’t agree with many people here (what I call the erpolska hivemind).

You get downvoted to oblivion, you get banned for saying stuff that mods don’t like, so you create alt accounts to keep interacting with the community on the front page of the internet. But then of course you get called a russian bot. Sorry, I’m not getting -100000 karma on my main account for saying I don’t like Zandberg. Call me a bot all you like

  4. Karma threshold/account age required to post on this sub should be increased.

    1y + 100 Karma at minimum.

There is nothing wrong at hiding comments history though. It is a quite reasonable thing to do.

  5. Minimum karma or account age might help I guess. Or at least mod approval for new and empty accounts posts and comments.

not everyone with the default username and hidden post history is a russian bot, thats just schizoposting

source: myself. I am polish, against russian propaganda, I just forgot to change my username and I don’t want people to pull up my posts when arguing or something

  7. Some subs who tend to attract Russian bots have started pre-moderating posts to avoid this – you submit your post, then it’s on standby, until approved (or not). Lots of work for mods probably, but then it’s much more pleasant to stick around.

  8. Idk, everytime i say unpopular opinion from diffrent persperspective that official narrarion there are like 10 ppl telling me that i am a bot. I more feeling like those ppl are bots. I mean if i am accused of being bot several times i stoped belives there are such many real bots here.

  9. Cry to reddit algorithms, I am russian subscribed to russian subs and Poland, Baltic, Georgia, Ukraine etc are always pops up as suggestions on home page, so sometimes “russian bots” will distort your echo chamber.

The username pattern is reddit’s default if you don’t have idea for your own. It doesn’t prove anything

  11. Is easy to spot them and block.

Once you block someone- he cant see you posts, so is good method of exclude bots and trolls from future discussions

The bots are a real pain. Moderation tools like pre-moderating posts could help clean this place up.

  13. While at it, can we also do something about witch hunting? It does nothing but hurts this sub, and you cant even say anything because bunch of peasants immediately swarm you with pitchforks and torches.

Not to mention that for someone speaking against the hate you sure use a lot of hate in your comments here…
