  1. The heat venting on these things is by evaporating water to the vacuum. And the evaporator is located around the ass.

  2. Looks like a wearable refridgerator… I guess if you wear it for long enough in space, it would be.

  3. “Кречет” means “merlin” (a small falcon native to the Northern hemisphere) or “gyrfalcon.” “Golden eagle” (Беркут) was the EVA suit worn by Leonov and Belyayev aboard Voskhod-2.

    Interesting that this “rear door” format is the same as the most recent NASA proposal I can recall. I think that has a circular hatch, though.
