  1. Weirdly comforting thought: if somebody says something really annoying online, they might just be an AI.

Yes, our ability to tell humans from AI is unraveling and this will break the very fabric of our society, but at least you can believe the hostile stupidity might just be a bot trying to foster polarization and chaos.

  2. This is absolutely absurd. Taylor swift toured for 3 years, broke records for most grossing tour EVER with 2 billion. There is no way in hell that scammers pocketed 2.5x that in 1 year alone with fake merch, meetups, and fake ticket sales.

    As bullshit as it gets

  3. This is why we need tighter legislation on AI. it’s the wildest at the moment like crypto and bitcoin and it will blow up in everyone’s face.

Clickbait article. Has almost nothing to do with AI. It’s more about scam merchandise sites and fake tickets. Nearly zero cases of AI being used to chat up lonely people to steal their money by convincing them they are Taylor Swift.

  5. Wow!

Taylor Swift’s recent Eras Tour made a little over 2.07 billion dollars in world wide ticket sales over 3 year, making it the highest‑grossing concert tour in history.

I don’t believe that stupid people had that kinda cash to hemorrhage. Or, maybe. Probably.

If some people regularly in the news say something lucid, kind, truthful or tolerant, you KNOW its their AI doppleganger
