    Nuclear power is not as good as renewables like solar or wind, but it isn’t coal or gas. I would take it over those two anyday.

  2. I think nuclear is great unless you live near a reactor on an island that gets hit by tsunamis and earthquakes.

    Japan has little choice. Given its heavy dependence on imported energy, nuclear power can help reduce the pressure of rising energy costs.

  4. Can’t really blame them for that. Japan doesn’t have that many resources to use as energy, so it seems like nuclear energy is the way.

    Although I would like for Japan to build a bigger seawall this time, pretty sure the last one was too short.

    Good. Opening nuclear plants is gonna give Japan more energy security in case shit pops off
