A year of finally hiking into designated wilderness areas

Third year of dedicated hiking and my concerns about the future of our national forests in the US forced me to finally spend some time in them. But I also decided to finally tackle heading into "wilderness" regions.

To be clear I have yet to do backpacking through them or anywhere else. I didn't go especially far into any of them either. But I found the experiences this year to be incredibly fun and especially educational towards any potential future plans.
