Knox County-based WIN Energy REMC has been working with two groups this year as part of the energy provider’s “WIN for the Community” program. The two groups joining in are the Isaiah 1:17 House, and the Gibson County Council on Aging.
Earlier this year, seven workers helped the Vincennes Isaiah 1:17 House with sanding and staining a playset. They also volunteered in working on a dining room floor for the Gibson County Agency on Aging.
The group is now accepting project applications for the next year. Any non-profit, non-political group in Knox, Gibson, Greene, Pike, Sullivan, Posey, Clay, or Vigon counties is eligible. The eligible projects include painting, landscaping, cleaning, organizing, and lunch-packing.
