Tbilisi’s festive season has entered its busiest phase with several Christmas markets and holiday events happening right now across the city. The official Tbilisi Christmas Market at First Republic Square continues through to mid-January, featuring stalls with local artisan crafts, seasonal food and drink, and live music performances as part of the wider Christmas Village programme.
In addition, the Fabrika Christmas Fair — one of the capital’s most popular winter markets took place on December 21-22, bringing together local makers, designers and festive food vendors in a lively open-air setting.
On December 20, visitors could also enjoy a craft fair at the Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace alongside the Christmas market at the square, offering handmade gifts and seasonal treats.
These seasonal markets are part of Georgia’s growing winter cultural tradition, drawing both locals and tourists to celebrate with holiday lights, music and community gatherings in the heart of Tbilisi.
