I think the Royals are hoping that enough stories published about Andrew’s fall from grace will quell the hatred the average thinking-person has for the monarchy, when in truth this disgusting man should be squarely behind bars after his alleged crimes have been investigated and he has been convicted in court.

I think this is newspaper speak for a nothing story – he has to move out in the new year and firearms are strictly licenced, including how and where they’re kept. No-one, not even now just “shows up at his door” and it will have been by appointment to deal with the move and/or sale of the guns and to ensure the law is complied with.Â
“Officers are not thought to have seized any weapons” – then his licence hasn’t been revoked. You don’t get to keep firearms, former prince or not without one.
