Lol it feels like the story is changing every day. Not that I give a shit honestly, it’s just funny

  2. This seems a bit of a lie. There was, until recently, an a.i. made place holder.

Im not for or against it being used and the game is great but this seems a bit disingenuous.

  3. So whatever it takes to deliver the best product… can we stop this nonsense about tools…

If they aren’t using AI at least for some code parts, they are shooting themselves in the foot.

  5. Why does a sub called r/technology have such rampant anti-AI sentiment? Some of you folks would feel more at home at r/cavemen.

Thank you for the downvotes in advance.

  6. Why did the journalist put an apostrophe in JRPG? What’s it short for, “Je roleplaying game”?

  7. The first second I saw the environment I immediately thought of AI.

I think he is lying, I have no doubt they used AI heavily for the world and enemy designs, sorry

  8. Damn everyone here loves AI or something? Sandfall’s only doing this press tour promising not to ship out products with AI still in the game because they lost 2 big awards and confidence of gamers because they were never gonna disclose their use of AI assets

The environment (especially past the underwater level) looks AI-generated. Floating stones and rocks got old real quick.

  10. Get used to hearing this excuse for the next 10-15 years until it’s just acceptable to have AI in everything.
