Regardless of political stance, this is the first heavy weight journal I’ve seen taking a swing on Malta.
In my view, I don’t involve myself in Maltese politics, but it’s clear that the Malta we used to know 20 years ago is gone.

The Labour Party is the real cancer to this country. A party which should in theory stand for what Malta is built on, hard working individuals . Instead it stole all that away for themselves and the result is what we see today.
Since Labour took power and promised transparency they have done nothing but the opposite. Every criminal that awaits justice and every corrupt land grab in the last decade, not to mention the Vitals scandal, every scandal that surfaces almost weekly, we are buried under this hateful Mafia.
Only those pigging out, those that work fuck all for all of our taxes while we battle full pavements of illegal tables and broken kerbs, those that sold their kids futures , these Temu Mafia, they make hay while our poor rock gets buried in poor quality illegally made concrete.
This is heartbreaking to anyone who cares about Malta. It’s also sad because this is not limited to Malta… it’s just more obvious there because it’s so tiny …
