“It is risky for Belarus.” Zelensky said that Russia is placing equipment for targeting shaheeds on the roofs of Belarusian high-rise buildings

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi held a meeting of the Stavka, fully devoted to the issue of drones. After the meeting, he made a sharp statement towards official Minsk. “First of all, we note that the Russians are trying to bypass our protective positions of interceptors through the territory of neighboring Belarus. It is risky for Belarus. We see steps with “Areshnyk”, now – with the help of Shaheds. It is a pity that Belarus surrenders its sovereignty in favor of Russia’s aggressive ambitions,” said Zelensky.

According to him, according to Ukrainian intelligence, the equipment used in attacks against Ukraine is located in the settlements of Belarus near the border, including in residential buildings.

“In fact, antennas and other equipment are placed on the roofs of ordinary 5-story buildings, which help guide the shaheed to objects in our western regions. This is an absolute devaluation of human life, and it is important that Minsk stop playing with it. We will inform our partners and prepare joint responses,” he said.

Today, Zelensky already stated that Russia bypasses the borders of the Ukrainian Air Force thanks to Belarus. He added that Ukraine will respond to this.
