Most misleading headline in a supposedly reputable newspaper.
“Prisoner who was likely allowed to leave the facility did not return as planned.” would be more accurate.

If he’s so dangerous that he can’t be approached. Then what was he doing in an open prison?

It’s interesting to me how difficult it seems to be to discover why this man is in prison in the first place. I was actually just curious to find out what kind of crimes a person might commit that get them sent to an open prison, but they still might be driven to escape from that situation and would be considered dangerous.
Even a DM article I found said it is not currently clear why he is in prison. Why’s that? Is it a secret why people are in prison? Why would a newspaper not be able to find this out easily?
I’m sure this isn’t a conspiracy but it seems weird.
