Read the article – the final toll will be at least double this number.

Mostly Africans and Yemenis it seems.

    Good for KSA.

It’s a shame other states don’t show quite the same zeal to illegal residents. And those nations simultaneously make it hard to legally immigrate.

  2. Let’s see the GDP numbers over the next few quarters. Hate to break it to everyone, but workers working increases GDP.

It makes me so sick that some people don’t even recognize the success of their country is attributed to robbing of natural resources of another country. Of course it’s connected and at the least we should recognize that. I was afforded more opportunities because it and I think that should be recognized at the very least if not more

It’s absolutely insane what Ethiopians go through in order to work under dismal conditions in Saudi Arabia. They cross a desert on foot, invest their whole family’s life savings so they can cross the sea on the people smugglers’ less than seaworthy dinghies, then cross the warzone of Yemen and evade sharp shooters at the Saudi border who have orders to kill them. Only to then be deported back to Ethiopia and have to start over from the beginning.
