I once ordered a product from an online store. This company started sending me their newsletters and offers via email and SMS. I don’t think I gave my consent, but ok, I clicked in the email "unsubscribe". However, it was not possible to give up SMS. I sent a specific letter to the company that I had not given my consent to receive SMS and they politely replied that they would remove me from that list. For a while there was silence in terms of SMS, but then they started coming to me again. What authority should be informed about this or what section should they be threatened with? I know that the customer has to give their consent to receive newsletters, but I don’t know where this requirement comes from… Please don’t recommend blocking, it doesn’t solve the situation where the company is breaking the law/regulations.

NB! The messages come from the name of the company, not from a number, so it is not possible to reply to them.

Edit: saada see vaatusena mailile milles nad lubasid sulle SMS’sse mitte saata
