At the beginning of December 2025, TOFF Galleries marked its debut by lighting up Palatul Știrbei for Christmas, transforming the neoclassical landmark into a couture-inspired winter spectacle. The festive illumination signalled not only the start of the holiday season, but also the inauguration of what its creators describe as the most ambitious luxury retail project in Romania to date.

Following the opening event, TOFF Galleries officially opened its doors on 10 December 2025, inviting the public into a space where fashion, art, architecture, and curated experiences converge. By reactivating Palatul Știrbei for contemporary use, the project introduces a new generation of luxury retail in Romania, grounded in elegance, innovation, and the long-term valorisation of cultural heritage.

TOFF Galleries hosts an exceptional portfolio of international fashion houses, including Dior, Valentino, Saint Laurent, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Celine, Loewe, and Alaïa, alongside contemporary brands that place Bucharest on par with major European fashion capitals. The mix establishes a new benchmark for Romania’s luxury market and reflects its growing maturity and international relevance.

The experience extends beyond fashion through curated lifestyle and specialty spaces: Gift Atelier, dedicated to the art of gifting; the Baccarat Experience Bar, blending mixology with crystal craftsmanship; Simona’s Luxury at Home, Obsentum’s niche perfumery concept, and Opticris’ premium eyewear offering.

Harper Collective in Romania

Harper Collective is internationally recognised for redefining luxury through sustainability, using recycled materials such as ocean-bound plastic and post-consumer textiles, without compromising on performance or design. Addressing a new generation of environmentally conscious consumers, the brand blends innovation, functionality, and refined aesthetics.

Alongside Jaden Smith, Harper Collective is co-founded by Sebastian Manes, former executive buying director at Selfridges London, whose extensive experience in high-end retail has played a key role in shaping the brand’s global expansion. Harper Collective is already present in leading international locations, including Selfridges London, as well as selected retailers in Paris and Hong Kong.

Furthermore, Romanian consumers can access Harper Collective’s collections at TOFF Galleries, including limited-edition collaborations with Barbour, in a retail space that places strong emphasis on exclusivity, architectural context, and a curated shopping experience.

Within this context, the entry of Harper Collective, the sustainable premium travel brand co-founded by Jaden Smith, and Gucci’s return to the Romanian market reinforce TOFF Galleries’ positioning as a cultural institution of contemporary luxury, rather than a conventional retail space.
