I got this bottle for Christmas from a coworker and after a shot or two- I tried both sipping and just chugging. I did not enjoy it. What can I mix it with to make it taste better?
Just get drunk enough where you can’t even taste the alcohol anymore

Tbh, I never heard of anyone below a high promile lvl enjoying śliwowica. And I never heard of any cocktails with it. Best thing is to not drink it then, imo.

After a few shots you fall sleep 🤣🤣.

mix it with glass, there’s nothing more that this booze needs. Unless it’s not your taste then get drunk with anything you like. Fun fact: you don’t have to dry every bottle you were given ^_-

If you haven’t already – chill it for a few days in a freezer. It really wasn’t meant to be enjoyed warm

You can always mix it with more śliwowica. Yummers.

It’s a shot glass drink, it doesn’t taste good. Best to down it 😆

You can substitute śliwowica for pisco in the well known pisco sour recipe. There will be some aroma left but much smoother.

I think with most of those moonshine type of alcohols it is acquired taste. Same with whiskey, rum, burbon etc.

You don’t mix it with anything else than regret for drinking it.

You can make good Przepalanka on it!
– make some dark amber caramel, just sugar, nothing else!
– pour your caramel onto a baking sheet with baking paper (preferably butter greased)
– when caramel sets – crush it into small pieces, shove into your moonshine bottle and let sit for a week or so, making sure to mix it once or twice a day to help sugar dissolve
No idea how much liquid you have, but usual ratio in my house was 1 cup of sugar per 1 liter of booze.

If it’s 70%+ ethanol version, then it is hardly enjoyable – not just this, any aclohol. I’ve seen people doing shots witt it but like 20-30 ml per portion, that’s how I drunk it too. After some experiments with 80% Stroh, I’d suggest to put it in the freezer for few hurs and then dilute with water for drinking, try 1:1 and tweak to your preferences.

This is not a drink you sip or chug. It’s for shots.

Opt 1. We have a quite popular shot in PL called WÅ›ciekÅ‚y Pies (direct translation: “Mad Dog” :D) which is: 10ml raspberry syrup, 30ml vodka, few droplets of tabasco sauce. Now, you can make Bardzo WÅ›ciekÅ‚y Pies (Very Mad Dog) when you replace vodka with Åšliwowica. You can add a bit more raspberry syrup to make it teeny tiny bit more smooth.
Opt 2. Attempt to make a drink out of it: Large glass (300+ ml) half full of ice + 40ml Åšliwowica + 40ml rasp syrup + Sprite + few slices of lime/lemon. Might work, might be a fiasco, but my gut tells me it should be sort of OK.

You just kinda have to suffer through the taste when you drink this
