“The 96L6 all-altitude detection radar station is designed to detect and determine the co-ordinates of targets. This system can simultaneously detect and track up to 100 targets at ranges of up to 300km, providing target designation for them,” the press service noted.

The adoption and operational deployment of this new radar station for combat duty marks a stage in the rearmament of the air defence missile units of the Air Force and Air Defence Forces with S-400 missile systems.
