actually there is no law that prevents this. its totaly legal to stop on the crosswalk in trafic. you cannot ofc stop there and go out, also you cannot do this in regulated distance from the crosswalk but in traffic its ok.
There is no question that you should stop before if you see that traffic will make you stop on the crosswalk but if so the other guy is a dickhead and not one in the car.

Not many years ago drivers didn’t even have to stop for pedestrians on marked or unmarked crosswalks(No traffic lights), the law was actually implemented in june,2021.
