  1. $5 billion is nowhere near enough to save Intel. Throwing any money at them is never going to fix what is a decadent corporate structure and upper management.

  2. For all the criticisms, the US government and Nvidia investing in Intel is probably better than the alternative of Intel just outright failing and being stripped by other companies in the space. And if Intel under competent management rebounds the stock price was very cheap compared to their potential. The US is also “$6B richer” from the deal so far if we’re doing the same math as the title did for Nvidia.

  3. Reality is prices go up for us while the bubble inflates. Government bails out these assholes when the bubble bursts with tax dollars.

Fucked on the way up, fucked on the way down while these execs get billions.

  4. So, by now how many trillions of fake dollars are running around on the stock market related to “future” AI returns?

  5. The Ukraine military is using inertial navigation of drones to side-step electronic jamming of GPS and FPV steering, and A.I. to help with target choice once the drone reaches the combat area.

For instance, it might target the fractioning tower of a refinery, with A.I. circling the refinery to make sure it will crash into the correct target.

This tells me that militaries will use A.I. in some form.

Not even. It was basically a $5B bribe to taco to help grease selling much more than that to china.

  7. So dumb they are just passing money around to create faux revenue.

Musical chairs will stop eventually and retail investors will be left holding the bag like always.

They learned how to print money for themselves and what the average joe doesn’t understand is that they are stealing value from the money you earn and have.

They are stealing from us all and we just watch.

  9. >[Lina] Khan, an appointee of former US President Joe Biden, is no longer with the agency.

To be clear, she was fired day 1 by Trump, not that she quit or retired.

And this “cooperation” between Nvidia and Intel sounds like it will be pretty devastating to AMD
