About the telephone conversation with his Spanish counterpart, the head of Ukrainian diplomacy reported on the X social network
The foreign ministers of Ukraine and Spain, Andriy Sibiga and Jose Manuel Albares, discussed strengthening Ukraine’s air defense and energy resilience, as well as the situation on the front lines and the progress of the peace process.
The Ukrainian foreign minister announced the phone call with his Spanish counterpart on X, Ukrinform reports.

“We discussed the frontline situation and the consequences of Russia’s recent massive attacks on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure and civilian population. I stressed the importance of strengthening Ukraine’s air defense and energy resilience in the face of Russia’s escalation of terror.”

He also added that he informed his colleague about the latest developments in the peace process and reaffirmed Ukraine’s commitment to achieving a just and lasting peace based on Transatlantic unity.
According to Ukrinform, on December 10 the Kingdom of Spain’s Honorary Consulate officially opened in Lviv.
