    >The Republican Party is waiting for Donald Trump to “quit or die,” according to a political analyst who believes the party will struggle next year.

    >The 2026 midterms could be a blowout for Republican candidates, with many dropping out of the race before it really starts. Abrupt resignations and shock retirements throughout the GOP, including ex-Trump ally Marjorie Taylor Greene and recently Virginia state Senator Bryan Reeves, have sent the party into turmoil.

    >Salon’s Amanda Marcotte, writing in her Substack, noted that “Virginia state Sen. Bryan Reeves abruptly quit his campaign [Sunday] against an incumbent Democratic senator, Mark Warner of Virginia.”

    >”Reeves gave the usual family excuses, but then basically admitted that there’s no point in running when Trump is the party’s leader. ‘We must stop the infighting, regroup, and unite behind principled leadership worthy of our cause,’ he posted on X.”

    >”As I wrote earlier this month, Republicans are in a holding pattern, basically waiting for Trump to die or finally quit politics, with the latter feeling almost like a pipe dream at this point in time. Some of them increasingly seem to understand that they don’t really have a political party, just a cult of personality. Their best hope is to bide their time and plan on rebuilding the GOP from the ashes once Trump is gone.”

    >Despite the sweeping losses for the Republican Party ahead of the midterms next year, it is not a guaranteed victory for Democrats. Marcotte warned, “That’s definitely good news, but the big problem is that Democrats are also lost and unsure what their future holds.”

  2. They were with him the entire way.

Just because the leader of a criminal gang dies, the accomplices don’t get away.

Too bad the Trumplican party lacks the testicular fortitude to do anything about it other than wring their hands and clutch their pearls…

  4. Yes, let’s pretend a JD Vance presidency would make the Republicans seem like better people.

So you’re telling me when trump dies, they’ll instantly stop being pedos and grifters?

All this really tells me is that there will be no punishment for his parts of the Epstein case. Zero. He’ll die a free man, rich with billions and his pedophile friends will continue to burn the world down.

Isn’t the whole world waiting for Trump to die at this point?
The sane part of the world anyway.

  8. Pedowomb Levitt,

    The inbreeding Miller twins,

    Batshit bongino,

    1000 yard Kash,

And of course, Jabba the Trump.

Every single person who has intentionally lied to the public and encouraged separation, including traitorous actions based on hijacked religious ideology, needs to spend the rest of their lives in or under a prison, or America is officially cooked from the inside out.

The only problem is he ain’t quitting and I doubt he does anytime soon. Get ready for at least 10 more years of Trump presidency.

Nobody – from Congress to SCOTUS to DOJ – is willing to confront Trump and hold him accountable, and he remains incredibly popular with half the country.

He will start a war with one or more countries, declare emergency war powers, suspend all elections, inflame a civil war where national guard, ICE and military are used to impose martial law in suburban neighborhoods.

Folks need to prepare for this. Chuck Schumer ain’t stopping shit. Dem leadership is asleep at the wheel.

  10. If he were to quit today we will not forget between now and November. Not everyone has MAGA mind.

  11. Or depends on Trump magic to win yet again.

Vote purge and intimidation (ICE will be guarding polling places) and a bunch of MAGA will report to ICE members for any suspicious voters.

Voting will be suspended in California and the house of the representatives will be appointed by the Supreme Court due to the ongoing lawsuits on illegal gerrymandering, unlike Texas’s legal gerrymandering…

Oh, so that’s why he called Stephen Colbert a “dead man walking.” It’s always projection with this buffoon.

  13. There is another option they refuse to take. It ends the sickness immediately and then they can take a year to roll things back some and likely salvage *something*. Then mid terms might not be as bad as everyone thinks they will be.

But that means they have to remove a republican president from office with a republican congress. And i dont think they have the balls

The cronies and nutjobs will still be there once TACO is gone. You can only hope the craziness can go down but they are definitely not going away. I hope people learn and stop putting these horrible people in charge.
