The seismological telemetry network reports that an earthquake was recorded in North Macedonia last night.

“The seismological telemetric network of the Republic of North Macedonia, at seismological stations installed throughout its territory, maintained by the Seismological Observatory at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje, last night at 22:06 recorded an earthquake, the epicenter of which originated in the PeÅ¡tani-Ohrid-Struga epicentral area, approximately 103 km southwest of Skopje.

The earthquake had a local Richter magnitude of ML2.8.

“According to the data available to the observatory so far, the earthquake was felt in Ohrid and the surrounding area with an intensity of 4 degrees according to the European Macroseismic Scale,” the seismological telemetric network said in a statement. /Telegraph/
