I think all the people that have the power to do something about all of this fall into one of two camps.
One, either they are directly involved and want to delay and deflect as much as possible. Or two, they are compromised and can’t because if they did, them or their loved ones would be subjugated to being the next victims. They know they are capable too because they read the papers. They are the most rich and powerful people on Earth so if anyone could control the narrative it’s them. However, the truth comes out eventually. This case is proving that.
I think this also shows that we should rethink how we structure human society and our relationships. Instead of having a hierarchical framework going vertical, we should have a foundation going horizontal where everyone is on equal footing and no one is better than the other, just different.
