Palasino Mikulov, a fourth casino for Hong Kong-listed Palasino Holdings Ltd in the Czech Republic, is now open, according to a press statement from the company.

Palasino Mikulov (pictured) is in Mikulov, a town in the south of the country a few kilometres from the Czech Republic’s border with Austria.

The gaming venue – which saw the opening as a “soft launch” on December 18 – is said to feature 106 slot machines from suppliers including Novomatic AG, APEX, Euro Games Technology, IGT, and SYNOT Games Ltd, according to a separate social media update from the casino operator. The venue also hosts 10 gaming tables, and a buffet restaurant and bar.

The soft launch date had been decided to coincide with the Christmas and New Year festive period, a “high season” for the venue’s business. A “grand opening ceremony” of Palasino Mikulov is due to take place “early in 2026”, the company statement noted.

“The launch of Palasino Mikulov is a significant step in our growth strategy. By introducing the Palasino brand and our expertise in gaming and hospitality to this area, we are tapping into new customer segments and contributing to the local economy,” said Colin Chapman Stewart, chief operating officer of Palasino Holdings, in prepared remarks included in the press statement.

Mikulov is a “popular destination for both local and international visitors”, Palasino Holdings had noted previously.

As well as its three other land-based casinos in the Czech Republic – also with a mix of slots and table games – Palasino Holdings runs hotels in Germany and Austria.

The company was listed in Hong Kong in March last year as a spin-off from Hong Kong-listed property developer Far East Consortium International Ltd.
