I’m pretty sure Egypt as a country did not even exist for thousands of years.

I like that map but with all that empty space, could have had a depiction of the building with name, location and period.

Better as a table. The geographic distribution isn’t all that relevant

When did Russia have the world’s tallest structure – and what was it?

  5. This map is not accurate. Poland had the tallest structure for almost 20 years in the form of the warsaw radio mast, which from 1974 to 1991 was the tallest structure.

  6. This does not count in not free standing structures, for example supported by wires

Idk why would we want to not count in such structures

    Example:
The Warsaw Radio Mast (Konstantynów, Poland)
located in Konstantynów (near GÄ…bin). It held the title of the world’s tallest structure from its completion until its collapse.
    Height: 646.38 meters (2,120.7 feet).
    Period as Record Holder: 1974–1991.

  7. I like how we’ve come full circle again, the Middle East is building the tallest structures again.

I believe the Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia will also be the tallest on completion.

  8. Why does the map cut off Taiwan?

Taipei 101 was the largest building in the world before the Burj Khalifa.

This is a ridiculous colour scheme to use I’m colourblind and have absolutely no clue what I’m supposed to be looking at Russia the UAE and England are all practically identical and then so are Iraq and Egypt. Does this data really need to be shown through 6 randomly selected colours with no discernible gradient. It’s very clumsy

Turkey should have 1600 years: Gobekli Tepe (-9600 to -8000)

Jericho, Palestine should have 4000 years: Tower of Jericho (-8000 to -4000)
