Albany, NY (WRGB) — Albany Mayor Dorcey Applyrs is set to sign her first executive order at City Hall on Friday, Jan. 2, 2026, at 10 a.m.
The newly inaugurated mayor will be joined by business leaders and community members as she fulfills her campaign promise to “turn the lights back on” in Albany.
The order aims to strengthen and expand the city’s hospitality and entertainment sectors, which are crucial to Albany’s economic viability.
