I’ll be staying in Modlnica and working at Giebułtów for a week.
My work starts at 8am, and shifts can last up to ten hours.
What is something I should see/ visit at night.
I would like to see a bit of Krakow while there.
City square, walls, forts, churches, parks, malls.
Just something small I could catch while here.
Thank you!

Wawel Castle, Rynek Główny and the Old Town are classics. For some street food you can get zapiekanki on Plac Nowy (and explore Kazimierz while you’re at it) or a grilled sausage from the blue Nyska in front of the Market Hall (it’s there all night from around 7-8 pm). As for parks Planty are lovely in the evening.
Auschwitz is like an hour away
Wieliczka isn’t that far away.
Wawel, and also a fun thing to do in Kraków is a “Kopce tour”
You have Kopiec Kościuszki, Kopiec Piłsudckiego, Kopiec Wandy i Kopiec Krakusa. From Kopiec Piłsudckiego you can see the entirety of Kraków.
Kopiec Krakusa is where the concentration camp in the movie “Schindler’s list” was filmed.
Also you can visit the Schindler’s Factory.
There’s a beautiful bike lane through Nowa Huta but that’s for summer.
If you’re into Witcher there’s a witcher themed restaurant called “Wilczy dół”, the food there is very good.
My favorite place in kraków is Kopiec Krakusa so I recommend that the most.
A machete shop is my recommendation
Eat a Obwarzanki while looking at the Smok, then think about going to the Wawel but decide you don’t want the hustle of going up the hill. Go to old Town, eat 5 Piroggi for 50 Zł, pay by card and get screwed with the exchange rate because you choose to pay in Euro / Dollar instead of Złoty. Go to a random muzeum because ‘culture’, then go to a bar and drink yourself to Sleep.
Don’t forget to visit one of the famous Żabki.
