  2. Both Zaidis and Ismailis had their own state before the formation of modern yemen. Zaidi imamate and the emirate of Najran. The Zaidi imamate was over a 1000 years old. Honestly as a defacto Zaidi organisation, I’m surprised the houthis haven’t declared the return of the Zaidi imamate. Maybe they’re hopeful that Yemen will somehow stay united.

    how did the Shia’s manage to reach Yemen? I thought they were concentrated in areas surrounding Iran?

    Which are these sects are most active in overseas conversion missions ? Do all 4 sects believe they are the only One who get to go heaven?

    South Sudan should break awy as their.own country again, except this time take the rest of the Shafie regions with them, and abandons the Iranian backed Houthis to their own fate.

    Maybe build some kind of wall too to protect themselves, something like an Iron curtain
