Jennifer Williams, APRN, has rejoined the specialized wound care team at Baptist Health Wound & Hyperbaric Center-Fort Smith.
The center offers comprehensive, evidence-based treatment options for complex and non-healing wounds, including: advanced dressings and topical treatments, debridement (removal of damaged or nonviable tissue), negative pressure wound therapy, bioengineered skin substitutes, hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO), customized treatment protocols for complex or atypical wounds, diabetic foot care and venous leg ulcer treatment.
Conditions treated include chronic wounds that have not healed within the expected timeframe, pressure injuries, neuropathic and diabetic foot ulcers, burns, skin tears, traumatic wounds and post-surgical or medical procedure wounds.
Williams earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Carson-Newman University in Jefferson City, Tenn., in August 2022 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University in Millcreek, Utah, in October 2016. She is now accepting new patients and referrals.
