Gaza (QNN)- Three Palestinians, including a child, were killed on Saturday by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip, according to local medical sources.
A medical source said a 45-year-old woman was shot dead by Israeli forces in Beit Lahia, northwest of Gaza. Her body arrived at Al-Shifa Hospital in western Gaza City. The woman, identified as Snioura Al-Sheish, was killed in Tal Al-Dhahab area of Beit Lahia. The area lies within zones from which Israeli forces withdrew under the ceasefire agreement.
Earlier on Saturday, medical sources said Israeli forces killed an 11-year-old little girl outside Israeli deployment areas in Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza. Her body also arrived at Al-Shifa Hospital.
The Palestinian Information Center reported that Israeli forces killed a 27-year-old man near a bus stop in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City. The center also said Israeli forces shot and wounded another Palestinian in the stomach near Nasser Hospital, west of Khan Younis.
Emergency and ambulance sources said Israeli gunfire injured two Palestinians in Al-Mawasi area of Rafah, in southern Gaza.
Local sources reported that Israeli military vehicles opened random fire east of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. They also said Israeli aircraft carried out three airstrikes east of Khan Younis. Israeli helicopters and tanks fired toward eastern areas of the city.
Israeli naval boats also opened heavy fire at sea off the coast of Rafah.
Since the ceasefire agreement took effect, Israeli forces have carried out hundreds of violations. These attacks have killed at least 416 Palestinians and injured 1,153 others.
The agreement ended a war that Israel launched on October 8, 2023, and continued for two years. The genocide killed more than 71,000 Palestinians and wounded over 171,000. It also caused massive destruction across Gaza, with about 90 percent of civilian infrastructure damaged or destroyed. The United Nations has estimated reconstruction costs at around $70 billion.
