Hello! When I was in Sofia i saw a piece of paper on wall and photographed it. I dont know what it means tho. I would appreciate if someone translate it to English. 🙏🙏 Thank you in advance.
It’s cringe. It was said by a guy with a weird stare, that was introduced into politics by our pro-Russian president. He screamed this during a meeting, and we had the same protests we had a while back, and again it destabilised the country right before the introduction of the euro, just as our pro-Russian president intended.

It’s a slogan from the anti-government protests a few weeks ago. Translated it means “It won’t happen that way”, referring to a scandalous way that the Bulgarian budget for 2026 was going to be accepted. You can probably google more info about the protests if you’re interested.

One of the slogans for the biggest protest in Bulgaria in the last two maybe three decades. It translates to “It won’t happen that way”.
A guy from the opposition ruined a secret budget commission where the ruling coalition tried to push the worst budget in our modern history.
His party used it in a successful internet campaign against the budget thus bringing the younger generation’s attention to the problem.
Ultimately the government fell due to public disapproval. Noteworthy there were protesters from the full political spectrum.
The guy in particular is kinda slimy and my political views do not fully align with his party’s but they feel the least disgusting right now to me at least.
