    You need a good amount of workers. The more business exist, the more workers needed. With Japan declining population, you need to invite people in to work. That’s how it work in every country. Also unless multiple sites are lying, Japan unemployment rate looks good.

    And guess what, the foreigners who moved into the country had to pay taxes, and will now be spending money in the country, it gets the economy running. Econ101.

    Wouldnt work is an understatement. We are talking total collapse of nursing care industry without foreign nurses/care workers. Go look at the waiting list on any care center and how expensive it is. Even currently they are heavily recruiting nurses/care workers.

    30 years. Japan had 30 fucking years to address these problems when the cracks began to show.

    But instead, they doubled down on “Foreigners are the problem! Tourists are the problem! Not us!”
